Art Therapy

Art therapy is a mental health profession in which clients use art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork to explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior and addictions, develop social skills, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem (American Art Therapy Association).

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process of exploring and releasing painful emotions, limiting beliefs, dysfunctional patterns, and past conditioning. Its goal is to restore an individual to a higher, healthier way of functioning where life can be embraced and enjoyed, not merely survived.
